08/03/2010 - Boston, MA (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Cleveland Indians made several roster moves Tuesday, including placing catcher Carlos Santana on the 15-day disabled list a day after he was injured in a play at the plate.

In the seventh inning of Monday's win over Boston, Ryan Kalish crashed into Santana's left leg as he blocked the plate. Santana went down to the ground in pain and was eventually carted off the field.

The rookie was due to undergo an MRI exam Tuesday in Cleveland, and was put on the DL with a left knee sprain.

Additionally, the Indians placed designated hitter Travis Hafner on the 15-day DL with right shoulder inflammation. He has not played since July 28 because of the injury.

To fill the roster spots, the Indians recalled pitcher David Huff and catcher Lou Marson from Triple-A Columbus.

Huff was brought up to start Tuesday's game against the Red Sox. The left- hander went 2-9 with a 6.04 earned run average in 13 starts earlier this season for Cleveland.

Marson played in 45 games for the Indians this year between April and June, batting .191 with one home run and 12 runs batted in.
